This course is designed for mining management, executives and consultants who may be involved in capital justifications, feasibility studies or preparation of mine budgets and long term plans. This workshop has been designed for drilling & blasting personnel to optimize drill & blasting operations in modern mining and infrastructure development projects. The course is designed to combine a sound theoretical basis with practical problems solving, hands-on use of blasting monitoring equipment and computers. Controlling the results of drilling & blasting helps in integrating mine to mill operation and improving overall results. This course is designed for senior and middle level executives in mining and infrastructure development projects. Course aims to keep the pracing engineers, managers and policy makers updated in this rapidly advancing technology. The program is suitable for mining, civil engineering personnel, safety and environmental personnel. The course is designed to combine a sound theoretical basis with practical problems solving, hand on use of blast monitoring equipments and computers. Controlling the environmental imapct of blasting operations such as ground vibrations, air vibrations(noice), dust flyrock is necessary improving overall results.  This programme would help participants to keep current with the latest information and techniques, and to use the information to improve their blasting operations and thereby improve overall mining and  construction operations
